  • Images larger than 4096x4096 will not be displayed

About Twitter Cards

Twitter Cards allow you to attach rich media to tweets that link to your content. When someone shares your URL on Twitter/X, the card displays a preview with your title, description, and image, making your content more engaging and clickable.

Fallback Behavior

If you don't specify Twitter-specific meta tags, Twitter/X will use Open Graph tags instead. The fallback order is:

Best Practices

  1. Always include both Twitter Cards and Open Graph tags for maximum compatibility
  2. Keep titles under 70 characters to avoid truncation
  3. Keep descriptions under 200 characters
  4. Use high-quality images that look good when cropped
  5. Add alt text for accessibility
  6. Test your cards using Twitter's Card Validator tool
